Conflict is unavoidable in a workplace environment. Individuals of diverse backgrounds and personalities are brought together - rarely by their own choosing, to work as a productive team. This workshop will address how to approach difficult situations.
We are quick to label individuals as being "difficult". This course will encourage participants to think about situations rather than people, but will offer the communications and conflict resolutions skills to handle both.
The course is offered in both full and half-day format - the full day offering a more in-depth training on understanding conflict. Learn how to manage your emotions when the need arises, how crucial it is to learn how different "types" of people approach conflict in order to gain a deeper understanding of why people react the way they do.
Difficult people/situations are everywhere. Acquire the skills to deal with procrastinators, naysayers, controllers, and others who present a challenge in the workplace.
